Yummy Yogurt

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is having a good half term. For this post I decided to show what I have for breakfast a lot of the time. It's a healthy, fresh breakfast and keeps you full until lunch time so you don't have to worry about snacking!

(I love these bowls so much, I convinced my dad to buy a few when we were shopping yesterday. They are £2.50 from Sainsbury's)

(I also bought this mug with my friend Lizzie in Cowes, it is Cath Kidston and was £6.50)

Ingredients:
Natural Yoghurt (or your favourite flavour low-cal yoghurt)
1 banana
1 small punnet of strawberries
pumpkin seeds
(you can also add soaked chia and flax seeds but unfortunately, I had ran out)

Start by putting some natural yoghurt in a bowl. Rachel's organic natural yoghurt is my favourite however I have also used Total Greek Natural Yoghurt or Yeo Valley, it depends on personal preference. I chose this one because it was low in fat and calories while being quite cheap.
Then chop a banana and put it in the bowl with the natural yoghurt. I used banana because I love the taste and it's good if you need energy to get you through the day.
Next wash and cut some strawberries to add. The amount you do is completely up to you, this was a small punnet of strawberries but I didn't end up using all of them as there were too many for just me.
Then empty the strawberries in with the yoghurt and banana.

I decided to put a few pumpkin seeds in because they're also good for energy, are a good source of protein and give it an extra crunch. I do usually add chia and/or flax seeds but I had none in the house, honestly they're so good for you!
I also made myself some green tea to have with it because I absolutely love it and it can help increase your metabolism rate!
I ate it in my conservatory as I love the light and space, it's my favourite place to eat in my house! It's such a lovely breakfast and I really recommend it to start your day!

Lots of love,
